The One-Two Punch offers an accredited workshop, by A.C.E.  for both fitness instructors and personal trainers. This 3 hour workshop takes you a step closer to actual boxing training and will cover the specifics of how to properly execute a variety of punches and punching combinations, what these punches are used for and what muscles are involved. Target mitts are used and participants practice being both the catcher and the puncher.

The procedure for hand wrapping is explained and practiced. The use of the heavy bag, speed bag and double-end bag is explored and you will be coached through a variety of drills. Not only can you improve on your execution of punches and kicks; you will also experience the type of conditioning a boxer would go through while hitting the heavy bag, (making contact).

Direct feedback is given to help you improve your own boxing techniques, as well as information of how to TEACH and COACH in a fitness class environment or while personal training a client.

A session on skipping includes methods on how to teach a beginner to skip, together with more advanced skipping skills. Cueing, resting moves and fun and funky jumps are explained and practiced.

As instructors and trainers it is always important to keep up with the newest training methods and this is a great workshop to learn and perfect punching and kicking styles, shadow boxing, target mitt work and bag work. A variety of combinations, cueing approach and class/program design will be taught.
